Complaints of empty bottles stacked next to full recycling glass containers. Some say if they are full then take your bottles back home. Who is right ?

When the glass is left outside the bin it makes a huge dangerous mess - it inevitably gets broken and scattered around. I’d say if you can’t get it in the bin, take it somewhere else or back home.

Why would you be leaving full bottles anyway?

Fund councils properly, to stop the massive decline in public services. Recycling services are important and help to prevent fly tipping etc

Not so long ago my local council would collect unwanted white goods free of charge and take to the dump for you. Now they charge you for it. Around £50 last time I looked.

Not so long ago you could rock up at the dump and drop off your rubbish at any time. Now you have to register your personal and vehicle details online, then book a time slot. Try booking a Saturday or Sunday slot, you have to book weeks in advance.

In other news, our council seem to be confused about why fly tipping is on the increase.

Is Sadiq Khan to blame for this ?

Take them home or find another one that’s not full. I wait for the council glass recycling to collect from me.

If the council want people to recycle that shit, they should pull their finger out and empty the bins more, what else do they expect of course people ain’t going to take it back home.
