Beef wellington. I can't decide between roast potatoes or potato dauphinoise. Various veg to accompany it.

Or it might be a takeaway.

I eat ‘good luck’ foods. It’s all superstition but I don’t fancy breaking tradition.

Pork in some form.

Cakes and breads in round shape.

The round bread harder than a rock is banged on the door and massive lashings of butter are slathered upon it.

Something very heavy on onions. Likely a tattered of some form or onion soup.

Lentils.

Doughnuts filled with a brandy cream.

I've got a shop-bought takeaway Chicken Madras curry meal for tea later. It's about the spiciest my NYD is going to get, unfortunately

Meli that is the centre piece of my buffet for main. Also fid a massive bowl of prawn coctail, topped with smoked salmon and lots of other bits in. Chocolate mouse for after and lots of other dishes of cold meats, cheeses, condiments, relishes, salads etc. Very pleased with myself . Enjoy yours.

Don't tempt me with a good time like that. I really don't want 2024 to be the year I get signed as a Teletubbies tribute act.

I have a leg of lamb waiting to be roasted, and Ithink it will be just me eating it.

Might do roast potatoes and savoy cabbage with it.
