Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I never put a tree up. Instead I decorated my bass guitar with lights and tinsel and stood it on the sideboard.

It's still up, for now.

Mine stays up until 7th January and then it’s all thrown into a box. I will have wished next year that I didn’t impatiently shove everything into a box. Knowing this will happen next December will not stop me from doing it though.

Debauchery

Our’s is down and we feel great for it!

I got covered in tree snow jizz in the process but it was worth it. It’s earlier than many would take the tree down but we do it because it’s a certain amazing woman’s birthday in the new year .

Decorations are off but have left the tree in situ until I get back home and decide what I am going to do with it. I normally season the branches for the fire pit in summer as it smells lovely and crackles away.

But have seen an Instagram post recently about making pine disinfectant from the branches so might have a stab at that.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Mine came down on Christmas Eve... but it has been up since June.

I took product photos on it, and then took it to market for Christmas times.

Christian tradition says your Christmas tree should stay up until the 'Twelfth Night', which celebrates the arrival of the Three Wise Men, or Magi, who followed the star of Bethlehem to bring their gifts to baby Jesus.
