They seem to be a modern scourge. Everyone is wearing them.

Should the swinging community follow suit. ?

I can think of a number of single males how have pics of them in one

I blame the French, you have to have them in the back of your car in case of accidents

Here in the UK we have got bugger all use for them outside of some people's work

Perhaps they should make them compulsory for doggers. They wouldn't need to stumble around in the dark like zombies then

Legislation now before parliament will require all swingers to use hi viz condoms and hardon hats while working with erections, also slippery when wet signs must be clearly displayed together with notices about projectile fluids. As with all safety procedures the most important is to be aware of your colleagues needs.

RoSPA recommend them for cyclists at all times of day, and dog-walkers at night.

Would make an interesting themed night at a club

I can imagine the scene, safety barriers and cones with flashing lights, elf and safety officers making sure everyone is wearing the proper protection, clipboards at the ready, with suitable punishments for non-compliance

In the press recently a car mounted a pavement and hit a lady dog walker. She claimed against drivers insurance who tried to dismiss the claim on the grounds that she wasn't wearing a high vis. F.F.S ??

Could start a new genre in hi-vis fetish gear..??? Could be interesting, and a considerable untapped market...

Actually, it was a driver who ran into a horse, badly injuring the rider as well as the animal..

WTF, if you are driving and can't see something as big as a horse, surely you should hand in your Licence!

It's urban survival kit for cyclist commuters.

The only reason I wear it is because it is wind and rainproof and keeps me snug and warm.

In quite a few European countries it is the law now that you have to have one or sufficient numbers for the number of passengers.

For a fancy dress party I got Shel a Pink Hi Viz with the words "Erection Specialist" across the back. Unfortunately even the small size was huge on her, so it remains unworn.

She was planning to wear it with only knickers underneath, it was a swingers fancy dress !!
