I notice there are quite a few people that appear to live in vans [and one or two in cars] campers and several in small lorries converted to living accommodation, they are always parked up in the same laybys, sometimes they are single guys, single woman and couples it does fascinate me some what I did ask a guy why he was living in a van and he said he couldn't afford to live any where else. Some of them have been doing it for many years.

I lived in a van for about 3 years when I was commuting back and forth to France. Had a house in France but lived in a van for the 4 months I was in the UK per year.

If I was having a meet I would book a hotel as nothing screams serial killer more than come back to my van!!

That said a couple of ladies I met regularly I invited back to the van and they really enjoyed having fun in there

We love living in our van for a few weeks in summer travelling to cap dagde and nudist Croatia but what bakes it great is living outdoors in the warm weather. In England in winter don't think it would be as good, mind you we only have a little van. Prob be better with a larger one...

No van yet. And possibly yes. Probably looking at a lwb sprinter type thing I think. I was thinking 7.5 t jobby and putting my bike on the back but its going to be to big

Although bigger is better and more comfortable it’s not so easy. A lot of areas have weight and width limits, parking up can be a pain and you will end up doing your supermarket shopping at 11.00pm as that’s the only time you can get in and park.
