Alternative Christmas

Following on from Killan’s post..

Christmas isn’t always great for a lot of people so maybe next year there should be a get together somewhere for people that don’t have a great time on the 25th December. Completely judgement free, not a swinging party, just people getting together so as not to be lonely.

We could call it fabfuckoffxmas

We spend alternative Christmases with our kids. The ones on our own we go away and do our own non-christmassy thing.

There is a man who organises a get together (non swinging) in Keswick in the Lake District on Christmas Day for people who don't want to be alone. I think it's a great idea, I personally couldn't imagine being alone Christmas Day I hope it never happens.

Love the idea OP we are a family couple so we don't have that problem and often invite our neighbours over if they are ever alone but loving your efforts to reduce loneliness

At the minute i always do alternative christmas, i like christmas mind its a celebration but not because of all the religious rot and not because of all the gifts but just because people in general love it
