There's been conflict of some kind, somewhere in the world, every day since the end of WWII.

We are simply more aware of it now due to mass communication.

Humans have had conflict since time began. Only the weapons have changed.

If you read more history books you will see that the world is no more aggressive and 'angry' than it always was. Nothing really new! Actually, I think, in many countries, there is far more tolerance and freedom than there ever was.

I still do as I never want to not know what is happening in the world. Also I believe small deeds locally can make a difference - big ideas like the conspiracy theory are largely irrelevant to me as I cannot singularly stop the tide. But I can make a difference to one person, locally.

The world has been the same for millenia...

Only difference now is that we have 24/7 arsehole journalists competing to sensationalise Non stories to appease their shareholders....

Most times speculating on badly researched information on a story where None of the facts have yet emerged....

Journalists are lower on the food chain than bankers and estate agents....

Do I think the world is angrier today than at any point in history...... Naahh!!!

Yes it is - we are all more angry - at journalists, bankers and estate agents!

I think you re right - in science terms the sum of anger is probably a constant somewhere...

It is about the absurdity of "fighting" for peace with the "weapons" of war - fighting intrinsically being about violence and aggression.

Just another thought about anger... angry worlds.

Anger is usually a secondary emotion resulting from a person feeling hurt. But showing anger is more acceptable in society than hurt or upset. I often wonder when people are aggressive and angry - what is that all about? What is really going on for them inside....

Think the chinese will jerk the norths chain ,but it is worrying all the same.

I think the world is more dangerous as globalization and fast comms has given all the minority groups a platform to work off.We even see open dissent in china again ,with calls for democracy.

It is a dangerous world ,but then it always is.
