Had his studs showing at chest height ! Wouldnt say it was intenional but ref just followed the rule book

If it was a man showing his studs like that to a Man U player would you be thinking the same?

I don't care one way or the other but I did think Fergie looked like he should have been in the old tango advert when he ran down those stairs waving his arms like that

i think you will find that millions of folk care

as a neutral i thought the decision ruined the game. 2 massive clubs with some fabulous players.....the talking point should not be about the ref.....but sadly it is...lol

it lists each one and suprise suprise no moaning from fergy or the players

in one the ref even apologised to bolton in writing at a later date

am a level 2 ref myself not a man u fan either , as a neutrol the view by the telly he didnt look up and see the real player coming in so no intent a defo yellow, maybe the ref had been swayed by the linesman

Even Roy Keane who, let's face it, never shirked a tackle in his life said it was a red. The lack of intention was not the issue, it was too high with studs showing! Had the Madrid player gone in with his head it could have been a lot worse! Straight red and it was hilarious to see Taggart racing down the steps!! I thought he was going to spontaneously combust!!
