If you like movies and sport it's probably worthwhile. We like neither and just have the basic 21quid package which to be honest is a waste of 21quid.

Most of the stuff available is also on freeview, so as soon as the contract is up - it's out

Retirement Village

Pay £47 a month and not really worth it. Package is ok but when things go wrong (which is quite often lately) I get stuck with a foreign call centre full of inadequate staff who have no idea how sky's systems actually work

When the call centres were based in Livingston they still had no idea how things worked.

And I was a service engineer for them, it was diabolical some of the things that customer services told the customers

Full package HD Sky plus. On demand is awesome. I think it's well worth the money.

We get everything we want from Virgin ( no use for films or the sport stuff), fast internet which sky can't provide, we get the on demand stuff etc.

We had sky once, rip off merchants. Rupert Murdoch is a slimy lying scumbag that i wouldn't even waste my piss on if he was on fire.

was £75 but cancelled most of it this week. figured it makes more sense to have 40 channels of shit instead of 200. will just watch the football on a foreign website instead

Had become fed up with the number of adverts and repeats whilst paying around £30 a month for the privilege, cacelled it last summer.

Last week we bought an HD Freesat box, just the job without the additional costs.

Not sure if I can mention this on here but if you're a Netflix UK subscriber then there are ways to easily access the American version of the site, which has a much better catalogue than the UK equivalent.

53quid for my virgin. i dont even have a phone plugged in so resent my line rental being included. i had to stop having sky sports it got too expensive. i get sky sports news and espn and massive on demand and catch up which the kids watch loads, so i think its worth it - just. i dont wanta go to freeview and id still have to pay for internet
