The site looks like it’s stuck in 2007

. I think the company that owns just runs with what people still pay for. So no point in paying developers to bring it up to the modern world.

Add in the site is mostly populated by middle age people plus they prefer non swipe / tik tok styles

Like with evolution, there's no need for something to change if the environment isn't.

The site may be dated, shoddy, ineffective for swinging and stuck in the past, but as long as we continue to pay for it and use it, why should it try harder?

For what it is worth - I think the site works well at what it does.

If you want swipes and stuff then there are loads of places that do that. Go hang out there.

The site could do with a new lick of paint but at the same time I don’t really think it is terminal and I kind of like the fact that it is different to so much of the rest of the interweb.
