"The Justin Bieber story has been playing all day. I was a little shocked to hear about the delay as plays happen on time. I was even more shocked to hear that four and nine year olds were out so late on a school night. Two questions: 1. What's the longest you have waited for the main act to start? 2. At what age would you allow children to attend an evening concert?" 1) About 3 hours or so, Phil Lynott's Grand Slamm, Wolverhampton Civic Hall, not long before he died, so 84/85ish, I imagine. 2) I think my daughter was about 8 or 9 when she went to see AC/DC with us, she might have been younger when she saw War of the Worlds

"And our sons would come to Glastonbury with us as soon as they reached Seven or Eight..." I don't have a problem with weekend concerts but when I heard the mother of a four year old say that their child was tired waiting as it was past their bedtime I found myself pulling a face.
