Ingredient shopping is good value. We don't tend to eat processed shit anyway, so it's not an issue.

Besides, value ranges in the big four are only there as answer to Aldi/Lidl anyway. Without the two of them the dog food ranges would disappear.

I do, too - you kind of got to try and see what you like. I dont buy processed food but find their fresh fruit and veg range as well as cooked and uncooked meats and fish really good. Bought pork fillet at £ 6.95 per kilo the other day - Tesco and Sainsbury's were £2.99 and £ 4.99 more per kilo!

There is one 5 mins from my house and i get my meat from the butchers,

but aldi is handy and they always have good fresh fruit n veg in and handy for milk and eggs n such so aldi works for me,Just doesn't have the best choice of stuff at times.

In my experience in the UK it depends what stores you have close by.
