I've seen a few people mention hacked profiles...

Is that just weak passwords or is there jacking software?

99.999% of the time it’s because people re-use the same password for multiple sites, not just fab.

Always worth checking the searchable sites that hold the leaked password databases. Often surprising what they have.

I thought that was just an excuse when someone Ghosts after a meet then decides they want to meet again on a new profile or when someone is "d*unk fabbing" and sends cunty messages.

"I've seen a few people mention hacked profiles...

Generally older websites are vulnerable to password theft regardless of length or strength.

2FA combined with a strong password & lockouts prevents account hacking.

irreversible encryption so that your password isn’t even known by the system it gets you access to, prevents password theft.

Modern sites use both

The main value of your password on low value / easy target site is to use to access to other sites like eBay, Amazon and web based email.

So use unique passwords on vulnerable sites.
