Can you love someone but have no desire to have sex with them?

To me this is a foreign concept and completely wrong.

What do you think?

Carlisle usually

Love and lust are entirely separate things to me.

I like when both exist together. But I also like having platonic friends and fuck buddies. I don't need anyone to give me everything

Bliss

Yep, certain hormonal variables aka menopause, is very successful at wiping out any libido completely

There are many forms of love.

I love my ex, but she would piss me off, if she would want to have sex with me.

I mean we didn't have any in 7 years, and divorced 4 years ago.

She still plays an important part in my life.

Mother of my child.

Probably the only person I trust with absolutely anything.

Wrong for you, reality for many.

At one end of the spectrum Asexual people exist and many of them have or desire romantic relationships.

Some folks are Aromatic and don't experience romantic love, but do experience lust.

Romantic love and sexual attraction are biologically quite separate things, it is just seen as most common to experience them both at the same time and for the same person.

Love and lust can be very separate things...

Those rare people they combine with are pretty damn special.
