I'm no help, Nanna. December sees my already feeble willpower fall to below zero.

I can't think of a reason unless you're likely to be kept up with indigestion in the night

No, I take Omeprazole.

The hunger pains might keep me up though.

How about a small bowl of cereal and half the chocolate?

Sugar rush sounds good right now.

I'll have to replace them as they're for the grandchild.

I don't have any of my milk left

I might have a slice of bread with a little bit of cheese.

I can't sleep with my stomach gurgling.

Neither can I. Earlier on I had the crust from a slice of homemade bread with tomato sauce on it. It was bloomin delicious! I haven't eaten anything like that since I was a kid.

I’ve got a good nose when it comes to food Nanna! I’ll find them from the motorway

Eating to close to bedtime ruins your sleep quality as so much blood is diverted to digestion that your brain and body needs for restoration and repair.

If you need something to stave off hunger pains avoid high fat high sugar. Have a banana with some peanut butter instead. Nuts are good on their own. Or plain wholewheat toast.

I've opted for bread and cheddar cheese. I'd have put tomato sauce on it if I had any.

I've been letting the fridge freezer contents run down so I can clean it for Christmas.

Slim pickings

I can't eat banana before bed for some reason and peanut butter is too oily for my stomach.

I'm fine with bread and cheese, strangely enough. The cheese might give me grief tomorrow though.
