"I guess we all make our children live the lifestyle we want. An alternative lifestyle to me means different to house, job, relationship, 2.4 children. Does 'spiritual commune' mean cult?" "Where they lived there are small villages and quite a few very isolated single dwellings. No electricity, no conformity to societal rules etc. Attracts drifters, off gridders n some druggies apparently as well as those who want to live more naturally and without the stresses this society imposes. " There’s a similar place in the Australian bush called Nimbin. There are sone really nice communes but it also attracts druggies and criminals. You also realise after a while they do still need money and the way they make it usually involves crime. | |||
