Who wants to play out?

I’m bored, I’m off out to do something!

When’s the last time you just asked someone if they want to come out and do anything? Or when’s the last time someone asked you ‘what are you up to?’ Do you fancy going out somewhere?

It’s a mixed bag of a post, but, who needs some more local friends? See if you can find some if they join the thread.

Dude. It was worth a try.

I travel to town, checked out the markets and come home in the time that I realised no friends play out anymore.

The Christmas markets rubbish I mean who the hell pays £5 for a pie???

NARRATOR- ‘ you Woody. You paid £5 for a pie.!’

People don't seem to do that much these days. Pity as is nice to have a day out with someone, look at shops, spot of lunxh, a cake and coffee, play bowling, justv drive to the seaside or the countryside ... I do from time to time.

I'd love some more friends to do exactly this with. Even if it's just running errands! They can be just as much fun.

My 2 closest friends don't live near me, and the others are usually at work. It gets a bit sad doing everything on my own.

Thats quite sad to hear.

I have friends all 5mins walk from me, so I'll often pop in on the way to the shop and they will tag along or they pop in past and sit in the kitchen while I'm making dinner for the kids etc.

One popped in today in the couple hours I was home for so she helped me find the extra Xmas decs in the loft...

Its nice to chatter while doing stuff

Working from home since COVID combined with a house move has completely changed my life.

Hardly see anyone outside of immediate family.

I can relate to this. I have 2 or 3 close friends. I was out in Liverpool for drinks and dinner with my best mate on Thursday. But most of the time everyone has their own commitments. I do too. So I think nothing of taking myself out to a gig a football match or just for a pint and something to eat.

I'm comfortable with my own company but it's definitely always nice to do stuff with other people
