I am watching Gordon on Kitchen nightmares.. So have you ever been to a restaurant and had a bad experience?

Yes several though the second was more the appalling food, both in Tewkesbury. I complained at the first one about the service and food and got my the cost of my meal (steak) back and like a good girl that I am, I gave it to my friend who paid

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Several. The worst one was Jamie Olivers in Leeds. They ended up comping us a third of the bill (we did eat something so couldn't expect it for free).

Carluccios in Bristol served me cold food, even though I could see my food on the counter and had asked twice for it. Didn't surprise me in the least when I saw it was closed down last time I was there.

After working in the business for 10 years I do expect a certain level of service. My family are terrors for leaving if we don't get acknowledged within a certain amount of time.

I have a lot of slugs.

the service starts the second you walk in the door.....if 4 people ignore you thats bad service to me

A couple of mediocre experiences and a terrible one in Vegas which I refused to pay for and it kicked off.

You can't guarantee to provide perfect food but if they fuck up they should come out to you and apologise if your complaint has substance.

I can't remember having that many bad meals.

When I do, I normally let my sentiments known when I pay the bill.
