My job gives me an enormous sense of satisfaction from planning a new electricity network based on the client's needs/wants and then seeing it through to handing over a completed network of electrics, internet, telephony and television. I take a lot of pride in that.

Playing a musical instrument is very therapeutic as is woodwork. Something very soothing about that.

I am quite in awe of electricians tbh I think it requires a specially "wired" brain to do that job.

I think growing your own vegetables is so satisfying in a way - harvesting and eating it.

I enjoy DIY and get great satisfaction from knowing that's just what I did (do wish I could plumb & plaster properly though). Used to create gardens from scratch and loved knitting baby layettes. Have very little time nowadays for those pursuits sadly.

It is such a shame, we have all these good ideas.. and then precious little time to do them!

I am in awe of people who can make and decorate cakes and make lovely roses and things.. never had the patience or ability to do that. I like cooking as I can create what I want with no recipe... with baking you ahve to follow a strict recipe and that is not me unfortunately.

Love growing veg at least I know there's no chemicals on them and there right there to be picked! And it doesn't cost the earth.

I was actually wondering whether I should this year. Not necessarily for the price but definitely for flavour and ensuring that I know what if any chemicals need to be used.

I have done things like herbs, basil, thyme, chives, coriander etc and tomatoes and that worked out well. Not tried anything else yet but might really try this spring.
