Dear Chaps, Lådìes, Nøn-Bínarìes and Persons of Interest...

We all have our staples in the refrigerator - milk, eggs, butter and, er, shit. But are you usually fully stocked up with your favourite cheese?

Is your cheese simply to sprinkle over and melt over toast or do you enjoy it with all the frills such as crackers, grapes and pickles?

I do like a strong cheddar. If it's got chives in it, that's awesome. Christmas is coming, so I'll be stocking up

I like both. Cheese sprinkled over a pasta dish really brings it alive.

Likewise I love cheese, crackers, pickled onions and some grapes.

All over

All of it. More into the slow and appreciative comsumption of it with some embelishments rather than just sloppy cheesey things which are ok too though from time to time.

.

I love cheese. I know, I know, I've always kept it very quiet.

But... because I'm determined to keep losing weight, I try and not eat it as often. I still buy it though. So right now I have taleggio and raclette from a brilliant trip to Harrogate, a couple of cheese bake things in lovely ceramic dishes. Cheddar. Mozzarella. Halloumi. Feta. I have a cheese shelf.

It's a good job we have a lot of fridge space.

That's not a bad thing — Cheddar is good enough.

Yes I can imagine you with two Fisher & Paykel™ 'American style' fridge-freezers.
