Ey ey good folks

With Christmas just around the corner, I want you to rate your own present wrapping skills here on a scale of 1-10.

Are you a scrunch it and bugger it sort of else are you meticulous in your artistry?

Also, what is the most singularly blooming awkward present you have ever wrapped?

Pray do reveal all here my fine people

I’m 10/10 at wrapping stuff in a Tesco carrier bag.

Reusing my single use plastics.

I love wrapping presents! I wouldn't say I'm good at it but I get a lot of joy from doing it. I'm afraid I'm a rather bland wrapper though. I like chic ribbon, ideally velvet or similar, maybe a bit of foliage I've collected and kraft paper. Nice, neat and simple.

I saved all the Amazon brown paper last year, stamped it by hand, made individual stars and baubles and gift tags and used a lot of my collection of ribbons etc to wrap gifts individually.

Guess what? The effort was only appreciated by one maybe two people. This year with two exceptions it's Sainsbury wrapping paper, sellotape and a Santa sticker

If I wrapped in a manner akin to how I write, it would likely manifest as a scrunched up bin bag……full of dog poop

I have to be in the right mood. When I'm in the right mood, my creative juices start brewing and fingers hit search engine for ideas. Some of the funkiest ones I did were fusion or twist of others creativity. It doesn't have to be elaborate. The ordinary brown paper and permanent marker drawings can create a miracle too. The most interesting ones were using fabric scarves (part of the gift), flora, yarn - somewhat like furoshiki
