Cure for HIV?

A child born HIV+ has been cured of the virus with a short course of retroviral drugs.

The implications of this news are pretty obvious I think.

I know we're not supposed to post links, but perhaps the mods could allow it for somethingng like this..

Yes, but the first was cured by stem cell treatment he was receiving for leukemia, its very expensive, controversial and requires the donor of the stem cells to have a genetic mutation that makes them immune to HIV.

I think if they put in more money then a cure would of been found years ago. Elton John raises more money for HIV than what the government provide for it...
