It depends on the side effects it's left you with. I have a friend who had a stroke and it just left him with a weak hand

I think what the comment has shown is how difficult it is for some men to ask questions regarding health issues as many of the replies would be of a perceived jovial nature and not any help at all causing the man asking the original question to withdraw into himself and sadly not ask anyone else.

If it's you that has suffered a stroke then the stroke units attended will have great signposting to help or contact the stroke association.

There is not one answer fits all response but your medical teams will understand any anxieties around sex after any incident.

How a stroke affects people varies greatly. I'd suggest going on the Stroke Association website. They have information specifically about sexual relationships and Strokes that you might find helpful.
