Sure, Metallica were great at one point too (1983 to 1988), but Maiden sustained their brilliance far longer (1980 to 1995).

I saw them headline download/monsters of Rock, when the Black album came out. They’re wearing matching black long sleeve T-shirts like a boy band. Then all that stuff with Napster. They are just old wankers now

I think cliff would have done a lot of the same stuff they did musically. He was the one that opened the rest of the bands eyes to other types of music.
