I'm indifferent to either. They're just words.

I would use the word moist without much thought. Beautiful word, which I find so therapeutic and onomatopoeic

I’d only use the word clunge to wind someone up who didn’t like it

What’s wrong with moist?

I like my cakes soft and moist

Clunge though - that word should be sent to the depths of hell

Gunt.

Gunt gets me, it's where gut sinks into cunt.

Clunge just sounds clunjey and gives me gunt vibes.

I can do moist.

"Which word is worse? "

Clunge for sure though unlike some neither bother me per se. Moist is a bigger trigger for people in my experience.

Clunge doesn't even sound like a real word.

In fact it's just been underlined as a spelling mistake as I post this.
