"have the paint to repaint my bedroom - same colour as now - jade white for three walls and currently have oriental jade (very deep jade) on the back of the bed wall - just thought id look at wallpaper - would have to be special - blimey crikey i found 2 i really liked - one was £78 a roll and my fave a mere £42 - harlequin passion its called - im saving up for a new carpet and have 180 so far - more than enough for cheap carpet ( i know a fitter ) and thought id maybe paper a wall instead of repainting - sheesh maybe not - " look on eBay you might find a paper you like on there, ppl sell anything these day even unused wallpaper when they have bought too much, just a thought | |||

"Dont rule out B&Q..they do quite a few nice stripes.. Horizontal stripes give a calming effect, vertical/diagonal give a more vibrant feel. Get the paper first then match the paint to it..there are far more colours available and you will limit your choices massively if you try to match a paper to paint..one word o caution, if you go for matt finish dont use Dulux..what used to be vinyl matt is now just plain matt emulsion..you cant wipe it..it will come off." "All my paint is dulux and ive never had a problem with them, ive got there paper as well but ive only got the one wall papered in the whole house" her same here - 2 bits of alcoves in the lounge the rest is painted plaster | |||
