I may be wrong but these higher ones are for regular savings and sime require you have a current account or being a member before a certain date.

You need to have an edge current account to be able to get the 7% on savings up to 4K.

Exactly. No use when you've got £100k handy! Rates are about 5% but that won't beat real inflation

5.56 NatWest and around the same with Nationwide both fixed in though for a year, also Easy access with unlimited withdrawals at 4.60 Skipton which I don’t think is too bad, rate was better with limited withdrawal's
