Mmmmm I love a corned beef sandwich with beetroot. Not from a can but slices from cold counter. I took some to work recently and my colleague thought it was very "pensioner-y"... What? Don't young people eat corned beef?

During the Falklands War, it was next to impossible to sell Argentinian corned beef in the UK, so the MOD bought it and fed it to the military. Probably intended to develop motivation to kill Argentinians.

I like it in sandwiches with raw onion.
