Who’s sticking at it despite the cold? I had to take a break due to injury, but I’m back now and working on rebuilding my fitness. I had to get some new running shoes as well, which are taking some getting used to.

Yeah I’m still plodding and getting the mikes in, albeit slowly

I don’t do massive distances now 10km is my sort of aim 2 or 3 times a week. Luckily I’m getting 20,000 + steps a day at work.

What trainers did you go with?

Well done for still getting out there regularly. Sounds like you're still covering plenty of ground!

I'm currently wearing Asics Gel-Nimbus 25s. I don't get much choice with feet the size of mine!

I'm just about to head out again. It's throwing it down with rain. I'm quite looking forward to running in it!

Training for a marathon in April so my training block started a few weeks back, I'm actually enjoying it over the winter

I'm a trail runner nowadays, ditched the road a few years ago. Slower, steadier and shorter distances than before, but the landscape more than makes up for it

It's wet and windy out there

Still I've got a 10 mile run to get through this morning.

Looking forward to brunch in the pub afterwards though

I've finished my couch-to-5k programme now, so I've started a 5k-to-10k one. It's slow, but it's still progress!

I used to run a lot but hit PF after the marathon in 2017. Did bits and bobs, tried cycling for a bit now weightlifting.

I want to get back into running but have a knee thing I need to sort out as it hurts when I walk and feels like something is getting squished inside

I've signed up for a mud run in July so really do need to start doing something!! I fucking hate running on mud or uneven surfaces lol might get back on the bike for more cardio while I sort the knee out.

Evie.

So got asked to go to parkrun in the sure Forrest today. I walked all of it and my knee hurt pretty much the whole way round but I did it.

#185 under my belt.

Now to see what the physio says tomorrow about all my aches and pains lol

I’ve just started picking it up again after a lot of left calf troubles last year
