You could push a red button to stop Christmas and still have the holidays, how many people would? I would

So Martin Lewis finally caught up with those of us that stopped the Christmas Shit decades ago .......

Yes I'd push the button ........ bring me feasting and dancing with friends but not the glitzy shit that passes for Yuletide these days. Nor the expense

All over

Not sure what this is about but as for that show, whenever I watched it I felt there was nothing I learned or was not common sense or could not easily find it on the net. Just my opinion but I am sure others find it useful and informative

you can though, just take the holiday and don't do the commercial bit. It'll be difficult the first year but after that everyone will accept it

It’s so easy to avoid if you don’t have the money to spend in the first place.

I don’t need Martin Lewis to tell me not to spend what I don’t have.

Exactly.

The energy companies and the trying to get better deals stuff etc yeah we could all do with a bit of help with that now and again.

Being told to not spend on something so you save...

A lot of people do need permission in a way to not spend a lot on Christmas. Great if you're immune to pressure buy and don't need telling but loads of people aren't.

I made a decision a lot of years ago never to stretch myself at Christmas after I saw some things I'd really struggled to afford at the back of someone's wardrobe in the 'charity donation' pile. However people will go into debt and the more he and other people put the message out there that you don't have to the better in my opinion
