Somewhere In The Ether…

Good folks: When venturing outside (or possibly in this weather, even whilst in your house!) how many layers are you donning?

What are you presently wearing to keep warm?

I’m shivering here

Carlisle usually

Currently I have a towel, a fluffy dressing gown, a fluffy unicorn hood and a Christmas robe over the top while I finish off some bits on the computer.

I was really cold when I got out of the shower okay.

When I go outside, it's a T-shirt, jumper and a waterproof coat with gloves and a hat.

Right now, I'm indoors wearing joggers, a T-shirt and an oldie

I normally just wear a tshirt and a hoody for working outside as hard to work comfortably with too many layers, if going to pub or somewhere nice I’ll just wear a tshirt as would rather be a bit cold on the way there or beteeen pubs than have to carry a jacket or jumper around all night once there

Ooooh, can we play guess which oldie you're wearing? Is it a forumite?

I wish I had an oldie to keep me warm wait, that was meant to sound more complimentary than it was

Comfy bra to hide cold nips, vest, 3/4 t shirt, loose off the shoulder knitwear, leggings and knee high flat boots.

But it's low cut so I donned a scarf with the coat to keep the boobies warm.

I did say to a certain man recently that I wasn't feeling the cold so much this year.

And he promptly told me that it was because of the extra body fat I've now got.

Wanker.

So get fat OP apparently that's the best layer you can have.

I have on underwear, knickers and bra, leggings, vest top and socks, then a long knitted skirt, long sleeved polo neck jumper, and a long knitted cardigan, with slipper boots. In the house.

Going out I replaced the cardigan with my full length duvet coat, fleece lined boots, scarf and even wore a hat today. Wasn't so cold I needed gloves.

I was about to say, that's no way to describe me

What a rude sounding git! I hope you put him in his proper place? (Under your boot would be appropriate)

Despite sitting here shivering like a snowman, I must recommend to you all compression tops/under armour.

They’re wafer thin but surprisingly warm

-6 here last night and we reached the giddy heights of 2 degrees today.

I have pink thermals on.

You're jealous I know it and they are so sexy.

It's been positively tropical here today as we have been out of the minus figures.

Temperature is dropping now so I'm about to get changed into jeans and a t-shirt and light the log burners.

It isn't. I'm always cold.

Have better circulation. That helps more.
