"Would Sundays be more social if we went back to shops being closed on Sundays? There would certainly be less traffic on the roads. This would mean we can get to my mother in laws that much quicker. No keep em open "

"When you work more than full time hours during the week sunday maybe your only day to go shopping. " Most definitely as struggling to get shopping during my lunch break is bloody hard work when town is full of people that don't work, have all day but do their shopping etc during this period

"I remember how boring Sundays were when I was a kid and nothing was open. IT was all to do with religious bollocks so no, I don't want to go back to that. " Bwahahahahaaa...!!! Millenia of study and belief dismissed in two words.... You're in a class of your own Wishmeister....

"My Sunday Morning was Sunday School followed by a few bottles of pop in the Catholic Club with my Dad. Good old days " Glad someone got something outta the church experience. I was forced to go twice on a Sunday, as were my brothers, and we hated it. Blood and fire twice on a Sunday ruined it for us. Interestingly, none of us are now in the least bit religious.

"I used to spend alternate weekends with both sets of Grandparents. One set were Catholics, and one set were Church of England. Which meant different Sunday Schools. And people wonder why I have no belief in organised religion now!!! "
