Bon Jovi - Dead or still Alive?

Somewhere

Absolutely love em, probably the best I've seen in concert going back a decade and a fair bit... New release? I'm undetermined if they've just run out of cash, or if I can like it? (I seriously doubt it's a cash flow issue)

What's your thoughts? Should folk just keep on going... And going... Is there a natural cut off point? Or should we just celebrate older artists are still churning out tunes to the masses? That may have not have been their bag before... Evolving?

I used to be a massive Bon Jovi fan.

Disappointing studio albums since 2001.

Then R.Sambora left, so no chance to get better.

Plus Jon sings live worse than Bob Dylan now days.

I mean literally he's the worst live singer in the band right now, even without Sambora.

If I want to be honest, then R.Sambora was always a better singer.

Yes, he/they should retire.

Bon Jovi is a joke for a long time for me.

It's looking like Sambora will be returning, shame because Phil X is a much better player.

I had tickets for every Bon Jovi stadium show in 1995 and never saw them once. I can't stand them, but, Van Halen were special guests and I love them. So I watched VH and then left.

Paradise, Herts

I’ve always loved them. I saw them the last time they were at Wembley a few years back. They were nowhere as good as the previous time I saw them. Still amazing though

My first gig was Bon Jovi 1994 on the Keep the Faith tour. Wembley area.

At one point I distinctly remember him pointing at me in the crowd singing, 'Shot through the heart and you're to blame...'

Then he must have realised he was pointing to a school age boy and quickly moved his gaze and his pointy finger away.

I have to admit they are good....not a fan but I know a good band when I hear one....

I'd be more of a Guns & Roses fan X

Sambora has his own style and feeling for it.

1995 I would have still see them live, but not in the last 20 years for sure.

Sambora singing 'I'll Be There For You ' is insanely better than Jon singing.

I know he still is a good singer.

I have some of his solo stuff on my playlists.
