Love that for you.

I normally stay indoors but I think walking is a thing I’ve done a few times to catch up with people in the winter

As you will know their menus rarely change much but try and have different things, though don't do salad. Have had fish and chips with a friend almost every fri for maybe 12 years

The menu in the only Spoons I have ever been in (Grimsby) is massive. Yiu could go in every day for about 4 years and order something different each day

I’ve always been a little concerned when driving past an alarmingly busy Spoons circa 9am!

Now I like a drink, arguably I like a drink more than I should; isn’t drinking at 9am with an optional breakfast simply a rubicon waiting to be crossed

In other news, last funeral I attended, the deceased demanded the wake at his local Spoons, he’d been expecting the inevitable for a while so made detailed plans; best wake (and funeral) ever!

Appreciate it’s a little paradoxical, but what a send off, they sold out half the food menu!

Stella didn’t sell out though!

Cheers Phil, wherever you are pal

What a fantastic wake, I hope mine wod be like that. Sorry for your loss.

I've had earlier drinks, eg airport etc. Think I've done a early ish breakfast once, when I walked my kids to school in snow, a good 30 min walk. A few mum meet up for breakfast and had a liquor coffee.
