Can be both. Or neither.

It's not my preferred method anyway

Imitation is a bit odd. Being an inspiration is quite nice though apparently

Anyone's welcome to imitate me.

Won't do them any fecking good though. !!!!

I'm the original and it hasn't done me any good...

Just to admit it now. One of my Fabmas poses was completely inspired by you. Although I don't actually know which body part to use it for!

Imitation - not very appealing.

Inspiration however...

It can be weird if it happens constantly. When I joined here, I looked at a few male profiles to imitate the style or some poses until I could find what was right for me and that's where imitation can tend to help.

It's a perfectly natural thing in a social species to mirror those we like, or who we feel are more successful than us at things we want to be good at.

But it's also a spectrum and can be hella creepy depending on how it's done and with what intent.

Belfast

On the 3 occasions that other male fabbers including a regular forum poster decided to copy and paste my entire bio as their own and borrow a number of my pics I was told on the forums that I should be flattered!

I didn't find anything flattering about being acknowledged by 3 lazy fuckers especially when one of them attached my pics, with my name still on them, to nasty messages he was sending to women.

I can guarantee I've stole names, pic ideas and took inspiration from Forumites bios.

Lazy, maybe.

But please just see it as a compliment.

I've also noticed I have the same oak doors in some of my pics. That wasn't intentional

Imitation, or copyright infringement. Or simply plagiarism?

You never cease to surprise me with your anecdotes and soliloquies. You'll be telling us next about how you attended a social and were ignored, only to receive messages from the same attendees asking where you were!

I couldn't possibly do that. Someone might borrow that tale as their own

Titz Towers, North Notts

I once had someone use my pics to chat to people on MSN and instead of being annoyed, my first thought was, 'I've got a tribute act'
