Who has said the biggest lie ever?

Do you live in a web of lies?

Has that hole got bigger about the continuous lying.

I lied to my boss once. I lied to go sick. THAT is a terrible lie.

Will you tell lies over christmas, oh honey that was great sex but really was not are you that type.

Or you have any funny lies stories..

The lies that have been told about me have been particularly damaging, as in a profound effect on my professional and personal life and the hiring of lawyers to get them to stop, kind of damaging. As a result, I have zero tolerance for lies. What is particularly galling, is that a couple of people who know this about me have then accused me of lying about utterly stupid things, and spread those stories to others (who believed them without question). Truth + tact is always the best option.

Each job interview I've had where I've explained how much passion I have for software testing and how I want to use that to contribute to the team to improve the standard of service being delivered.

And it's a lie I'll continue to tell until my retirement

I lied at my first job interview told the panel that I would be the best employee they could have out of the others in waiting room , the guy was impressed with my boldness that I got job only to leave three days

Later when I passed my driving test and got a job working as a hgv mechanic

We've all told a lie in our lives, I don't make a habit of it though. I don't like people who regularly lie or lie to trick someone into getting what they want.

I used to work with a woman who lied about loads of stuff from where she lived to the jobs she'd done in the past. She was often caught out as it's a small world and people always know someone who knows that person.

I think why you're telling the lie is important, is it to deceive someone or to spare someone's feelings sort of thing.

Last time I lied was to someone that should be important to me but is not in the slightest. I did not want to share something with them so when they asked about that something I lied.

I sweated and shook as I did it.

That person deserves to be lied to. And I don't deserve to hear what they'd say I'd I had told the truth.

Someone lied about me at work once which nearly cost me my job and took a full scale investigation and interviewing witnesses to sort out.

My ex was a serial liar who couldn't tell the truth about anything and I mean even the simplest thing

Therefore I try not to lie but sometimes it's unavoidable. Eg 'you look great' or to keep someone else's confidentiality

For myself, I'll stretch the truth to save someone's feelings. I think we all do that.

I once threw out some milk at work. It was 5 days past its use by date. I was asked if I'd sniffed it, and it would have been a safe easy lie to say yes. However, I said no. As it happened, it was fresh, but had just been poured into that container for reasons. Being truthful about it gave me a huge leg up.

I find it almost impossible in most situations but I do know the difference between truth and opinion. I know when to keep my mouth shut
