Tough times - I think our last pay rise was 4 years ago. Sadly prices have not stopped going up - council tax has risen sharply since then and that is just one example.

Always had a pay rise. This year is the first time I've had a pay cut as I'm having to pay 10% of my salary into my pension.

My employer has been doing that for 20 years...now all change. From 0 to 10% is a shock to the pocket!

Hope not. Couldn't be going through the trauma of making another one of those.

I got a small one last year but that was the first in about 6 years I think and 4 years ago they had to stop all bonuses to save cash...mind you since they stopped bonuses the owner has has gone on a 3month holiday around the world, every year but I guess there's no point in running a business if ya don't enjoy whatcha got

Last year I think and before that due to merging, we had an adjustment so that we matched their staff and got quite a tidy payrise. Trouble is that my department is now going through a consultation period and not sure a pay rise will be on the horizon for this year.

As to my second job, doubt that very much

It's more about pay cuts these day's, I'll ask a question tho, How Many companies have jumped on the merry go round of asking staff to take pay cuts, when there is no reason to do so, I wonder

Luckily for me' I wok in a market which has strangely avoided the crunch, so we have been getting a pay rise most years.

But reading don the. It's it is rather scary looking at when some last had there's.

5 years ago for me. Last year we also lost compuslary overtime and also had overtime, down-time and stand-by rates cut too. Current take-home? A tad over £1,000 a month so we weren`t on a foutune to start!
