Yes. I think I’m at least ok looking facially. And I know. I have been told enough to believe there’s something about me. But that doesn’t mean I think I’m the most attractive. There’s usually people in a room that are more attractive than me lol

I'm only joshing. But, in general, I think people who fit the mould of what is considered attractive would know. That's not to say they would be conceited or arrogant, or even feel attractive all the time, but a man who looked like Brad Pitt (for example) would surely know he looked like someone considered attractive by many???

Some are, some aren't.

Some make that their whole personality basis, and rely on it as everything. It's the only place they seem to have anything at all going for them.

You can be over confident in yourself, just because you believe you are attractive (and it's great for you if you do) but nobody has to believe that along with you.

A attractive person with quiet confidence in themselves (aware of their attractiveness or not) is far more appealing to me than somebody that is attractive but also very blatant about how attractive they are/think they are.

More often than not (majority by experience, but not all!!!) those that are aware simply have a vibe of self appointed superiority.

So knowing you are does that impact your choices? So for example i would generally not consider the conventionally attractive for me. For you, beauty be skin deep blah blah blah, do you then have a higher standard, do you KNOW you can meet people of a higher standard and can be fussy? Hope that makes sense?

I think everyone knows roughly where they are on the attractiveness scale when it comes to conventional standards of good looks. A five may hit on a seven but not a nine, they know what league they are in. Generally we can usually agree to a quite high degree what constitutes physical attractiveness. Luckily for people like me, the male half, personally goes a long way to offsetting a lack of conventional good looks with a lot of women. I have actually heard people say, about me and different partners, he’s punching, or what’s she doing with him. I was tempted to explain they could probably do a whole lot better with women by not being an arsehole, but hey, some life lessons you just have to just learn yourself. Now that works both ways. Sometimes you meet a a women that exudes such confidence and charisma she outshines every conventionally attractive woman in the room. Perhaps men and women who tend more towards that end of the spectrum don’t fully understand their attractiveness. If they combine that with conventional good looks, intelligence, compassion and talent, I’m sorry but I just don’t like you. Actually, despite myself, I probably would. So Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, what are you waiting for, we’re ready and waiting!

I was a very fugly child/teenager...then after kids piled a tonne on weight on which floored my confidence as I don't carry it well being short. So I've spent most of my life feeling unattractive.

I probably feel the most content with myself now than I have ever. But I'm definitely a catfish, I go that extra length when getting dolled up as I look like shit 99% of the time...I live in wellies and field gear covered in animal shit and mud.

I feel good when dolled up, but ugly when not.

Attraction is subjective and also can change in real life.

Although there are the people, who are considered generally attractive.

Without that there's a really slight chance, even get in contact with someone or being noticed.

I'd say it's mostly an issue for single guys, but there might be some women or couples who has the same issue.

Single guys are much less picky, than women/couples attractive or not in general.

I don't mean the "every hole is a goal" type single guys.

I like some women here with nice (online) personality.

I like some women here with rough (online) personality.

I don't like someone just because they are the hottest for most, and I don't like everyone who's hot for most.

Regarding to body shape, I just care about the shape of the bum.

I wouldn't put myself in the "all hole is a goal" category.

I'm sure there's a lot of guys here thinking like me.

Attractiveness can be subjective depending on what exactly you are evaluating.

How does someone even answer this?

I don't think I'm attractive, I don't think I'm beautiful. I don't turn heads when I walk down the street but I can name people that do. Always the one that's not seen.

Personality wise. How can I even judge that?

People can look at themselves in the mirror and think they are a 10 but to others they might only be a 6 or a 7.

Lots of beautiful people don't believe they are beautiful and fibd it hard to accept genuine compliments.

There's a fine line between arrogance and confidence.

I'm not gorgeous, but I'm aware I'm attractive because I know my value to society, can hold my own and can emphasise and build relationships with people.

I've been in the company of beautiful people who've sucked the life out of me and been exceptionally unattractive as a result.

So yeah, attraction and beauty don't go hand in hand.

I think they are aware. Certainly they would have been told several times in person.

They have the benefit of having lots of people constantly hit on them, compliment them etc. So would have an idea even if they didn't have the confidence to back it up.

On here I'm pretty sure women constantly get told that even if the person making the comment didn't believe it.

That said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Varies for me

In the right frame of mind I feel handsome and attractive.

The rest of the time I don’t.

It’s linked to happiness or something.

To be honest I’d hate to know I’m beautiful externally. Then I’d either be frightened of losing it or desperate to lose it. Being a beautiful character means so much more. It’s earned and never lost. Don’t think I’m one but I’m blessed with knowing a few.

It was a bit different situation,than you think.

I'm tired, but still funny(ish).

Me: "You look alright"

P.G: " Are you joking?!!! Look at this face and this body!!! I'm gorgeous!!!

Thankfully I got an order, so I had a reason to walk away.

She was usually really basic with most of us (that's good enough at work), but extremely flirty and sometimes even intimidating, when she wanted free food.

She had a pretty face with average body.

Eventually external validation in your looks fades away anyway.

Also if you appear to be confident in how you look and consider yourself attractive people are only to happy to ensure that you know they think you're not all that.

When you’re young you’re particularly susceptible to taking too much notice of what others, especially those of the opposite sex, say about us. And women especially have not been looked on kindly for being confident in their looks and sexuality in the past.

It all often depends on how yoi feel and varies from time to time. Also what mihht be beautiful to some is not necessarily to others. Some people like querky rather than conventionally beautiful. Some like an ironed look and some love quite a few wrinkles. Diversity makes the world go round

I cannot be attracted to those people who here for other reasons. Mentally speaking not looks. As many have faces hidden or profiles.Mine is to stop trolls messaging me. Attractive.. No. Beautiful.. No. My experience this year trashed but I perservere because those who chose to not be beautiful know who they are,and,I will not be put off.

I thought all the things people have said would come up, beauty comes from within, eye of the beholder, we are all beautiful, personality makes you beautiful etc and I agree with all of those things. I would define that as attraction though. Im talking about those that you may not find attractive but their looks cannot be denied. I think there are people that we can all agree a just are just blessed to be attractive. They may have nothing more to them and you may not find them attractive but you couldn't argue they arent beautiful. I see it all the time even as a straight man I'll see a guy and that guy is a really good looking, tall, etc I wonder if he knows it. Same with I see lots of beautiful women in my gym, undeniably gorgeous but do nothing for me. Not sure if that explains it, sorry.
