When your posting what purpose do you use the rainbow? To say 'i mean well' or 'sending good thoughts or something else?

I use it very sporadically to send some caring, good vibes to friends usually.

Interesting question - I wonder that about some of the other emojis too. How people interpret them?

I’ve often used it to say Yay! or positive vibes like the poster said above but I have wondered does it raise a few eyebrows from other posters. Either way keep it positive

"Long live rock and roll"

I found a lot of good emojis, but the usual coding doesn't work here.

Not sure what other hidden ones are here to be used.

Tbh, the times I've used it I've had no thought process in doing it. I've just tagged a rainbow on the end of a comment instead of a smiley face that time. I kind of reply to forum threads without too much though unless they pose serious questions. I'm usually just writing the first thing that pops into my head as an answer, which is probably another reason why I make regular grammatical errors.

All over

Here are some official definitions if anyone is interested:

1. used to express various positive emotions, such as happiness, feelings of togetherness, hope, and good fortune.

2. It is alsi commonly used to express LGBTQ+ identity, pride and support.

For me, as I said before I often use more as a togetherness symbol but also to indicate to any that I am not interested in negativity and controversy.

If it's not for you, don't use but hopefully nobody will belittle it or those who choose too and means something special to them

I’ve only used it a few times, mainly in a sarcastic way.

You are having a bit of an engagement with someone on the forums and give a bit of a sarcastic reply and end it with the rainbow as a sort of veiled insult.

Probably just me with that then

Never had use to use it.

I tend not to get into discussions that would warrant its generally accepted use to show inclusivity/positivity.
