Leeds

I'm needing some ideas on where to book a weekend away in February, it's so rare we get the opportunity to have a couple of nights off & now I'm stuck where to go in the UK?

Any suggestions much appreciated, where would you go if you had a weekend away?

Depends on what you want to do or like.

Option 1 is a city break, Edinburgh is amazing, Liverpool for a good night out and London if you’re feeling fancy!

Option 2 is country break, the Cotswolds - some amazing paced to eat and relax. My personal favourite is in the Yorkshire Dales. Look at a place called Reeth and Simonstone.

Some good shooting up there as well and Grantley hall or Rockcliffe hall.

I like my weekends away

I’d like to visit the Cotswolds of the Jurassic Coast. I’ve been to Edinburgh but would love to go to the Highlands, pop along to Glasgow.

Have been to Dublin but would like to explore other parts of Ireland. The more remote places. Would also like to visit Devon.

I guess it depends what you want from the break, sightseeing, shopping or a mix.

Bath is has a nice mix and it had a good vibe the last time I was there.

If you are in Leeds and in February I would say London. Lots to do and enough places to warm up if the weather is not great.

Cotswolds/Bath or treat yourselves to a posh fancy spa weekend break with some treatments thrown in.

I love the Cotswolds - I live here - but winter is not really the best time to visit. Come back in the summer and you will never leave.

Another recommendation for Yorkshire Dales. I’ve been looking at going in January or February myself. Most enjoyable in the summer but plenty to enjoy in the winter too.

I’ve also looked at Stanton, Snowshill, and Stanway in the Cotswolds. If you’re into wintry walks, cosy cottages, and snow that is.

To be fair, if everyone in the Cotswolds walks round like you do in your profile picture, Winter isn't a bad month to visit either! Ha ha

It’s the local costume down in these parts - “rural traditions” and all that

Get chatting to a hot female and then spend the weekend around their location. You get to meet a hot female and see a different part of the country…winner winner

We did a weekend in Gran Canaria (not for swinging although that is an option) a couple of years ago and it was cheaper than a lodge in the UK. I think return flights were £45 each and hotel and transfer came to about £200 all inclusive.

"Do they swing in Gran Canaria?"

It’s basically the swinging capital of the world. There was 3 clubs within walking distance of our hotel and nudist beaches but we were having a vanilla weekend.
