I had to get up for work 3hrs ago and it's not got any warmer .

Wish I was in bed with Mrs Misfit right now. I hate the thought of her being in bed alone when it's this cold.

It is winter though, I'm sure that cold is a standard feature of winter.

It is but it's absolutely beautiful. Bright sunshine and snow on the ground. Love mornings like this.

I used to go outside in -30 when I was a security guard.

More sensitive now, but it's okay until -10.

That doesn't happen often here.

"Water pipes in the marina froze. No water on pontoons nor in the main building :S"

Our dishwasher outlet pipe froze, despite having lagging over it. Our boiler condensate pipe also has had columns of ice falling out of it all day

couple, us we him her.

Well today I did a job I've been meaning to do for about 5 years I've kept saying it's pointless insulating the loft until I cleared it,I've had five big rolls of insulation sitting in the loft.

Well today as I was getting Christmas decs down I thought fuck it just shifted the boxes around and layed the insulation.

What a difference it's made when it's cold like it is we usually have the boiler flow temperature at around 58/60 and other than the front room the rest of the house is cold.

I've just turned the temperature down to 56 as the house is boiling for first time in years.

I'm such a procrastinator I should have done it year's ago
