What Xmas stuff do you always do?

What is it you’re definitely going to do this year that makes it feel Christmassy?

My tradition………is to not have traditions, and do it different each time. It’s boring doing the same thing year after year.

For Christmas lunch, we shall be having a cooked breakfast., set into a giant Yorkshire pudding. Then I plan to take my ladies to fly kites on the beach.

I get a tree, an unsuspecting, livings it’s life, bit anonymous, inoffensive, environmentally friendly, bushy, green, reasonably tall, tree.

And make it so gay it’s practically in show business.

None of my childhood traditions are in any way appropriate for Christmas here

I stay at home and read a book. It's glorious.

Let's go fly a kite

Up to the highest height

Let's go fly a kite

Very nice, that is what is all about. I am envious of the kites and the beach. I can make the breakfast yorkie myself

Worthing

Put tree up on 15th December. I still have the tree star I made for my first Christmas on leaving home.

Northwest

Buy a 20 oz TBone steak.

Marinate in garlic, herbs and far too much Jack Davies. Serve with baby potatoes, roast parnips, carrots, and sprouts, witb a small amount of gravey mixed with wholegrain mustard.

Sit eating it, and get absolutely hammered off the steak.

"I thought Christmas was about children. We're making Christmas be about more than driving around in a car. If you want to see them, you know where we are. We're putting our children first. They won't be kids forever. Here's some pictures.

Merry Christmas and fuck off"

Thanks. We couldn’t possibly miss the festive season on the forums. It’s when people get d*unk and things get interesting

The big one i hated as a kid but now really like is we don't open presents until it gets dark. We had our stockings in the morning but had to wait agonising hours until we could get to the v main presents. The good thing about this is that it makes Christmas last all day.

Victoria Wood did a terrific routine about other families traditions and how weird they can look to outsiders.
