When do you eat your Christmas Dinner, lunch time or evening?

Do you have a Christmas breakfast?

I start on Christmas Eve with what I call a carpet picnic. All snacky bits

Depending on when I have the kids I like my dinner at about 1 so will only have a light breakfast.

That said the best bit for me is the left overs and bubble and squeak with Branston pickle

Erm... neither? Normally around 2ish. Breakfast wise, I don't really have anything in particular - maybe some mini pastries and fruit. Most of the time I skip it whilst asking myself do I really need to make all of those sides? :D

I love Christmas Eve, tend to do a fondue or baked camembert with really good, fresh bread and crudites and other nibbly bits. And mulled wine.

London

In our place on Germany we have...

On Xmas eve: Bratwurst, sauerkraut, bread... Then presents and lots of sweeties.

Xmas day a more formal lunch with extended family (most people have goose, duck, or some roast)

I try keep my meals very trimmed for the few days that lead up to the Christmas meal. Then I’ll pig out.

It usually starts at about 4pm and carries on for about 4 hours with small breaks where drinks flow and the discourse becomes progressively mirthful.

I grew up eating a traditional Jamaican breakfast of ackee and saltfish with fried plantain and fried dumplings on Christmas morning before going over to family for Christmas dinner. Usually would eat Christmas dinner in the evening so more dinner time.

My partner and I do breakfast and then dinner in the late afternoon when it’s just us for Christmas.

I don’t do times, that’s far too plans and organised.

I make shit up as I go along, the same as any other day.

Paradise, Herts

About 4 or 5pm usually. Always have a full English on Christmas Eve. Salmon and scrambled egg for Christmas Day breakfast
