Glad that he has come out of his five month break to defend his world title at the Crucible.

Just don't find any other current players as exciting.

Yeah it's good that he's coming back. Hopefully he'll have a good run - it'd make a great story if he got close to defending the title.

If somehow the draw could throw up a Selby/O'Sullivan final that'd be something to see.

I suppose that depends on your definition of 'exciting'.

He plays at a high tempo rather than taking a more studious approach which can send some people including myself to sleep.

Do you have a reason for saying he thinks that? Anything at all? Seems a bit presumptuous to say you know what the man thinks...

Its bad for any sport when someone just turns up when they feel like it. I hope he doesn't win for that reason but he is good enough to do it.

Well i like him

Seems very chilled and much more focused.. he's seen his own faults and took 10months out to get his feet back on the ground. Has a total different attitude. Always been a firm favourite mine

I do not find snooker exciting at all no doubt he is fantastic at what he does but i feel the comeback is more to do with his over inflated ego.

Great snooker player but a very shy personality. He did an exhibition at St Austell a couple of years ago. He was on great form, he did 2 x 147's, first time he'd done 2 in one night in exhibition, so he said, and 6 other centuries, but he hardly spoke a word all night.

At the end of the exhibition loads of people queued for an autograph. Kate got a kiss off Ronnie and our boy got his cue signed.

Brilliant player, but obviously troubled

I used to think this guy was the greatest, but got very very bored of his going to quit, coming back, going to quit and guess what - coming back.

Skillwise - absolutely brilliant

Attitude - what a .......

But I suppose you can't have one without the other, flawed genius, its half the appeal. Similar to Best, Cantona, Gazza ......

Hey I've talked myself round, come on rocket show these young uns how its done.

It's not at all unusual for the defending champion of an event to be guaranteed entry...

Ronnie has mental health issues. Sometimes he's up, sometimes he's down. He has to deal with it his way.

Some people are tolerant of others and some are not, but that's life isn't it?
