No, this is not a socks on or off thread. I thought as there is a shoe thread on at the moment, we could do a socks one too. Do you have lots? Guys, do you stick with black ones or spice it up with a bit of colour. What about in the summer? Still wear them on an evening out or prefer the continental look of loafers and no socks. And finally, how many single ones do you have and do you keep them in the hope that one day the other one will reappear

I go through socks at an alarming rate

I generally wear plain black ones although also have a few dark grey ones.

And single socks….oh yes; quite a few!

My washing machine is sockniverous…

I have socks for all occasions. Formal socks, colourful socks, sports socks, trainer socks and odd socks you hope will be reunited one day. I do like a flip flop in the warmer months. Great question OP.

I like wearing bright novelty socks in meetings. The most dour serious the better.

I have a combination of grey and black ones plus the dad ones I get off the kids at Father’s Day ect. I rarely have a matching pair I just grab 2 similar clean ones regardless if they match

Now, pleasw don't judge but I try and fold them im pairs after a wash and put them in the little sock organiser in the drawer. Not always successfully I may add and the system goes into disarray pretty quickly if I am in a hurry or run out of space and just pile them all in.

Other than gym and ankle socks, I have formal black ones but also have black ones with colour on the heel and toes that I like to colour coordinate with my jumper or t shirt
