Did you get any good black Friday, cyber Monday deals? I've just benefitted from some travel discounts only. I fancied an air fryer but saw nothing that grabbed me.

This, based on the Consumer's Association report that at least 90% of last year's deals weren't really deals, as such

I didn’t, what I wanted was out of stock. Worse, is that now ‘Black Friday’ is ‘over’, they’ve suddenly reappeared in stock, back at the original prices.

Oh I agree. But if I want something in the autumn I'll write it down, write down the price and wait. If it's cheaper I'll take advantage. If it's not I won't.

Funny how that happens, so predictably

I had something out of stock for most of a month it was on offer. First thing of the first morning after, it was magically back in stock
