Yep I've seen the trailers. I imagine people move into streets where swinging couples live every day. However this will surely end badly we can't have swinging portrayed as a benign activity on mainstream telly

This is an English remake of a Dutch TV show called Nieuwe Buren which translates to New Neighbours.

Interestingly, Nieuwe Buren, was subtitled into English, renamed The Swingers and broadcast on Channel 4 a few years back as part of their Walter Presents series of foreign TV shows.

We watched all the series of it on Walter Presents and we found it very watchable and made us realise how far other countries have caught up with the quality of British and US TV.

The swinging became secondary to the story but I'm sure that it will be a conversion starter for lots of couples who've been considering giving the lifestyle a try.

It amused me that in this morning's online Guardian the review of the series was the second most read article!

We will be watching this version tonight.
