Most people I know get checked every 2-3 months, some every month… how regularly are you getting checked? Assuming you’re active "I get checked every 2 months . Sometimes I go over that as rocking away. I know lots of people who are active who do not go to their clinic particularly regularly because they have sex using condoms and they seem to view that as less risk. The point is that you can never know unless you ask snd open thst conversation. If someone is taking prescribed PrEP then they have to fit into that framework of regular checks so you are in a clearer position with them already. | |||

Do you refrain from any unprotected oral sex too then? If you are prescribed PrEP through your sexual health clinic then you are on a programme of minimum three monthly sexual health checks which will identify and advise/ treat all of these infections. Are you tested every three months or more often? Better to be educated and aware of your own sexual health than to spread misinformation. | |||
