The right place

Do you ever get confused when messaging a couple as to which one you’re talking to?

Especially when the switch who’s in charge of the keyboard. It would be great if the text was colour coded or some other way of easily knowing.

Or maybe it’s just me.

Yes but ppl get shirty when you ask who youre addressing, were both here or address us as a couple. I see why its said but fab could make it so each person has different fonts/colours or something.

Never had much of a problem with "switching"? You figure out pretty much right away who you're talking to, and then it's usually the same person throughout. At least in my experience.

But colour coding might an idea.

I have a similar grievance but mainly because they refer to themselves in 3rd person. A does xy and z. B does xy and z. But who is chatting right now?

That being said, if a message isn't signed off, it's not a stopping point. You can figure out who is chatting at what time, and usually assume its the guy.

We always put the initials of whoever is messaging at the end to avoid confusion but most couples we talk to don’t.

I've had two unpleasant experiences where couples had me at a disadvantage: they always knew they were talking to me but I was never 100% sure with whom I was chatting to because of their behaviour: they were duplicitous at best, borderline covert at worst and not helped by their own in-fighting and toxic-laden drama.

I only have a handful of 'Couples' in my circle of friends as a consequence, and even so I've met most of them at socials or migrated over to Telegram. They know who they are, to coin a phrase.

Just ask? In our case it's usually the Mr but that's because I'm much more interested in the non sexual side of Fab; the forums, the communication.

There's no skulduggery, we both use the account and both reply to messages sometimes.

When I'm chatting with a couples profile I try to address them both. If it gets too difficult or I need to differentiate for whatever reason I ask who I'm talking to.

I don’t think it should matter who you are speaking to…I’d hope that you were addressing us both anyway.

When you get further into chatting then it might make more difference but initial messages then assume you’re talking to us both.

Guys that come in with ‘you’re beautiful’ clearly talking to C get a ‘thanks, I didn’t think you’d think that of a hairy bloke seeing you have straight on your profile’ from me if I read the message first

That’s why we take chats off-line once we’ve got a conversation going as then people can clearly see who they are talking to and how engaged each of us are.

I usually make it clear that it's me talking by whatever I send, however I hate it when guys message us and just address me and not us as a couple. It's a dead cert then that we won't meet them
