People demanding face pics in first message.

Is that the height of madness or is it just me.

Wouldn't it be safer to get to know the person first.

Mostly the ones who don't have any demanding it.

We get this regular away...from couples who send us a naff 100m away grainy photo of them wearing sunglasses, and have the cheek to ask for close up face pics. Last couple who did it to us, I gave them a piece lol

If that's their prerequisite to engage in conversation with someone then you either accept it and oblige or simply bypass that profile.

People have preferences. You don't have to abide by them; just move on.

I've never had any demands, or made any.

I do request them early on because faces are the most important part of attraction for me and I don't like wasting anyone's time.

I don't mind doing that as long as we have chatted for a while

What if you start chatting and it's going great, but then you see what they look like and realise you have no attraction to them?

Might as well rip that band aid as early as possible.

Quite a few organisations have my bank details given to people I’ve never met! But I get what you’re saying, I think.

We judge the book by the cover in every other way we make initial contact with a person.

Why should here be any different?

Indeed. That's an acceptable and reasonable approach.

A guy may as well know if it's his mum, or even someone who he doesn't fancy, early on, as there's no point in him wasting wanking time

Absolutely, all I ever ask for is a close-up iris picture, fingerprint, strand of hair, credit card details, expiry date and password.

These others who insist on faces. Tsk tsk.

For me there is no point in really engaging someone if I don't find them remotely attractive.

I don't demand anything it is their choice after all but if they have messaged me and they don't want to show me what they look then I'm unlikely to engage.

I want to be attracted to their face also their personality for me both is important.

Wherever

I only meet new people on fab organised group socials so no need for a face pictures in that case, as you can instantly tell if there’s mutual attraction or not.

Maybe it’s the way to go for you as well, OP.

Works well for me and many others.

It's harder to say no thank you due to lack of physical attraction once you've been chatting a while.

Like others have said I'd hate to waste people's time. I'm a chatty person but I can imagine it's not the nicest suddenly being told yeah I'm happy to chat to you but I wouldn't fuck you.

For fab I wouldn't fuck personality only, I'm not looking for dating or a relationship here.
